Spike VGA game of the year: Skyrim

Spike VGA game of the year: Skyrim screenshot

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards Game of the Year. I knew it. I will not tell you what I chose as a judge of Spike Video Game Awards panelist, but I bet you could guess.

It is unfortunate that the staff, led by the game director Todd Howard, has no time for an evening of acceptance appropriate. The show has threatened to teabag any presenter was time.

Skyrim

also named best RPG and the award for best game studio Bethesda. Congratulations, guys.

Skyrim
beat four other incredible games:

3 Uncharted: Drake's Deception, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Batman: Arkham City
and

Portal 2

. What an incredible year for games.
