Great News: Grasshopper Manufacture game 's Lollipop Chainsaw is just as crazy as in action. Suda51 's latest story of a zombie cheerleader battles as quirky and crazy as fans expect from us.

While we only had a chance to see the game in action at gamesom, publisher Warner Bros. brought along a more refined build of the game to PAX this year. As the show floor opened yesterday, I made a beeline towards Lollipop Chainsaw'S-state - a temporary school hallway splattered with blood and zombies limbs - to get my first hands-on with the upcoming title.

Just last week I fired No More Heroes: Hero 's Paradise for the PlayStation 3, so that game 's third-person action is fresh in your mind. During Lollipop Chainsaw'S can \ battle' t be directly linked to the former Suda51 titles, some similarities seem obvious. Both titles have such control, the 's in a trial designed mindless button mashing minimized.

Lead Juliette won't let her years of cheerleading practice go to waste, with one of her attacks being the use of pom-poms. This light attack will do minor damage to undead, but that's not really their main function. Instead, this short ranged attack is used to shuffle zombies about an area, the idea being to herd them into massive clusters. Once they've been grouped, that's when the chainsaw comes in handy.

A radical slash high and a low jab - - is broken in two attacks with a chainsaw as you would expect 'd remove limbs from the undead. Take one arm or two, and ghouls are still trying to stumble into your direction to get an impression of your young (but over 18!) Meat. Remove the legs, and they 'll fall to the ground, crawling towards you, human intention on their meal. His heads you have to worry about: a beautiful, high impact is to decapitate a zombie, sending her flying skulls, blood splashes on the screen, and ... Release of a flurry of rainbows and stars.

Kid Niki .) I was constantly bombarded by large, on-screen text of statements such as "Cocksucker!" And "Cooze!" And "Bitch!". Suda51 is known for designing some insane, over-the-top boss fights, if this is in the Lollipop Chainsaw is headed, our feelings are in difficulties. And I mean that in the best possible way.
