Despite its frequent criticism of smartphone games, and company president Satoru Iwata's recent pledge that the firm had "no intention to provide a property to any other platforms, or making them available in a mode that does not require consumers to pay at all," Nintendo is to release a Pok?mon smartphone app. Dubbed Pok?mon Say Tap? BW, the game is to be released this summer as a free download from the iOS App Store and Android Market.
